T he pineal gland contains t he same rods and cones cells
t hat our two eyes have. T hese cells are used to perceive
light, and colors. So our “third ” eye is a lot mo re simi lar to
our “two” eyes than you may have realized.
Our third eye is mentioned in holy books like the
Upanishads, the Bhagavad-Gitas and even the Holy Bible.
T he Bible makes mention of our third eye with this quote:
“T he eye is the lamp of the body. So, if your eye is healthy,
your whole body will be full of light .” - Matthew 6:22
Notice how the Bible speci}cally says “eye” and not “eyes”
in this passage?
